My5th is a non-profit that is devoted to guiding you through the law and how it applies to you! We want you to be a full complete citizen!
Know the law---The courts say " Ignorance of the Law is No Excuse!" and yet most of you know very little about the actual laws on the books. Let's change that. Know the consequences of your acts. Know the Constitution and your rights.
Make the law---You can impact the law if you are 18 and over by Voting! How do the laws on the books get there? You vote for the people who make them and enforce them. Know your choices for President, Congress, Govenors, Judges District Attorneys and School Boards.
Use the laws---Laws are there to help you when you have disputes or problems. Use the law to protect yourself from becoming a victim of a crime or to solve a dispute. Violence or trash talk does nothing to change things. Hiding or fear as a victim just makes feel like a victim longer.
Avoid certain laws---Courts do not look well on "everyone else is doing it!" Let's get to your core issues so you can avoid the problems that lead to arrest and prison.
