As a national facility dedicated to biosecurity, all visitors to the Australian Centre for Disease Preparedness (ACDP) (formerly the Australian Animal Health Laboratory (AAHL)) must be pre-approved and bring the required photo identification.

Nutrition and health

Research Clinic

At the Nutrition and Health Research Clinic, CSIRO researchers and clinic staff work together to run a variety of human nutrition studies that lead to health impacts for the Australian community. Our world-class Nutrition and Health Research Clinic is located on the ground floor of the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI).

CSIRO's Data61 - Labs

Our scientists perform their research, experiments and tests using data-driven technologies in four state-of-the-art, purpose-built labs and facilities around Australia.

Robotics Innovation Centre

Our purpose-built facility allows us to perform world-leading robotics research and testing for the benefit of Australian industry and society.

Mixed Reality Lab

The Mixed Reality Lab at CSIRO’s Data61 will enable manufacturing and other industries to create ‘Digital Twins’, or virtual replicas of physical objects and systems.

Immersive Environments Lab

Our Immersive Environments Lab is a unique facility where we can experiment and research technologies that bring together the digital and physical worlds.

Functional Programming is an approach to software engineering that offers tremendous benefits for correctness, maintainability, and time-to-market. Our goal at CSIRO's Data61 is to help people write better software with mathematics.
